EBE Real Weddings: Olivia & Matt | EBE Talent

The beauty of weddings is that every event is different. From style preferences and personal touches, to tradition and inspiration – each wedding is a unique product of the couple’s hard work and planning.

Designer, Olivia, and Attorney, Matt, met through a mutual friend in college. We asked them to take us on a visual tour of their wedding day after hearing just how much fun it was from their band, Sydney. They celebrated their beautiful Philadelphia Wedding on December 15, 2018 at Crystal Tea Room. Their wedding style was classic, with dark green, gold, and deep burgundy touches.Let’s walk through their day to see how they pulled it all together!

7:00 a.m. – Getting Ready

Matt got ready at the Courtyard Marriott, while Olivia and her Bridal Party got ready at her parents’ house. Olivia’s beauty team was made up of Julia Downes of Kristina Ruggerio Cosmetics and Jill Kozar of Up Your Do.

The couple’s Photographer, Martin Reardon, and Videographer, Michael Yarabinee, arrived for some getting ready photos and video.

1:00 p.m. – Ceremony

Olivia & Matt were married at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Glenn Mills, PA by Rev. John Zagarella O’Praem. This was special to them because he went to high school with the bride’s dad and to college with the bride’s mom, and actually baptized the bride in the same church the ceremony took place in!

4:00 p.m. – Cocktail Hour

Cocktail Hour began at Crystal Tea Room with an endless amount of food and cocktails. While Olivia & Matt’s guests indulged in Finley Catering’s spread, they joined their bridal parties for some portraits.

5:00 p.m. – Reception

The Crystal Tea Room was adorned with white, pink and deep burgundy Bacarra Roses, flickering candles, greenery, and gold accents. Escort cards were tied to Coke Bottles as an ode to Matt’s Dad who passed away 3 years prior, and the table numbers were Christmas illustrations. This winter-inspired wedding truly hit the mark!

EBE Sydney introduced Olivia & Matt as married, and they shared their first dance to Free Falling, a nostalgic song from one of their first dates. After that, their guests were ready to party!

We were able to ask Olivia & Matt a few questions about their wedding day… Check it out!

What was your favorite part of wedding planning?

I (Olivia) didn’t dislike one part of the wedding planning, so I am a bad judge, but Matt probably enjoyed picking the food or songs the most.

What was your favorite moment from your wedding?

The after-party with all our friends and family continuing to dance and sing the night away.

What was it like working with EBE?

Fantastic! Nick was a huge help and made us feel at ease always.

What made you choose EBE?

Finley recommended you and we had only heard great things about all of your bands from other people.

What is your advice to future EBE brides and grooms in regards to the stress of wedding planning and the choosing of vendors?

Don’t stress – this should be fun! Also, trust your gut first, online reviews second, and ask questions even if you think you sound crazy!
