When Mike Gendler and Steve Meranus formed EBE, they established one clear objective... to create an entertainment company that takes full responsibility for producing extraordinarily memorable events.

EBE Management feels that the only way to become a leader in the entertainment industry is to truly care about clients and their guests. The ultimate triumph for the EBE Team is to hear clients state they had the party of their dreams. Achieving that allows EBE to become a part of the family - serving as a single-source entertainment and corporate event planning option through a lifetime of events.

Steve Meranus

Aside from his musical and bandleader background, Steve spent years as an international sales trainer and motivational speaker. As managing partner of EBE, he utilizes these talents to ensure the organization is 100% client-centric. His ability to motivate and train the EBE staff to focus on ensuring that the many details that make up an event are attended to is a cornerstone of the EBE experience. Steve's ability to streamline the internal operations of EBE while also allowing for artistic expression, have resulted in a unique and rewarding experience for both musician and client.

Musically, Steve has performed nationally for over 20 years as a vocalist, trumpet player and percussionist. Originally from the jazz and R&B music scene he has shared the stage with and/or opened for Spyro Gyra, Tower of Power, The Persuaders, Grover Washington, Jr., Lou Rawls, Third World, The Hooters, Cindy Lauper and others. Steve spent four years performing and studying voice and trumpet in New Orleans and was the lead vocalist for the band Jubilation, a 20 piece big band under the direction of Tulane University's Musical Director. With a gift for mimicry, Steve can emulate vocals as diverse as Al Jarreau, Phillip Bailey, and Frank Sinatra and his ultra high-energy style brings electricity to any stage.

Mike Gendler

Mike provides EBE with the complete background - he combines musical talent with business savvy. Mike owned a production company and played drums before joining EBE as a partner. Mike is fully accountable for the great talent you see at parties and events. Mike recruits and trains the best musicians to become members of EBE bands. He also works with each Bandleader and band member to make sure you experience the best they have to offer.

As a musician, Mike has worked with many of the world's top artists including: Pink Floyd, NFL Films, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince (Will Smith), Boney James, Eddie Money, Adam Gaynor (Matchbox 20) and many others. With a style that combines power and finesse, Mike was named NFL Films most powerful drummer.

In recent years, Mike has played throughout the US and internationally, with a variety of acts, as well as many limited promotional dates for a wide variety of artists. In addition, Mike brings tremendous drive, enthusiasm, and creativity to everything he does, whether it's recording, touring, doing drum clinics or producing the great talent you see at EBE.  Some of Mike's projects have included a movie for the History Channel and the New NFL Network Themes as well as tracks with The Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am, and Steve Vai. Mike's most recent project with EBE is the formation of an outrageous band named L.A. Starz, to be introduced to the public in early 2006.
